Mary Schiavone is a prolific doodler and lover of all creative possibilities. Her artistic education was gathered from the School of Visual Arts, Parsons/The New School, Salve Regina University’s Expressive Arts program, and other small organizations for visual and healing arts. Her official degree was in accounting from Mississippi State University, which turned out to be quite useful, if not so creative. She also spent many years working in political, environmental and social service organizations trying to do a little good.
In addition to anything creative, Mary’s loves include her son, her spouse, all the creatures, especially black cats, oceans, trees, underdogs, New York, coffee, podcasts, exploring, seeking spiritual, metaphysical and emotional understanding, rom-coms, spontaneous dancing and being with her people.
